| Advice | Exercise caution Reduce your speed MOUNT OUSLEY INTERCHANGE PROJECT Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions while work is carried out on the Mount Ousley interchange project. Road shoulder, single lane closures and stop/slow traffic conditions will be in place as required on:
During the work, traffic control and reduced speed limits will be in place at times. A 60 km/h speed limit reduction is now in place on a one-kilometre section of the northbound lanes on the M1 Princes Motorway north of Northfields Avenue between 7am and 6pm, Mondays to Fridays. | Diversions | Motorists travelling between Wollongong and Bulli Tops will be detoured via Memorial Drive and Bulli Pass and should allow up to 15 minutes additional travel time. Motorists travelling between Wollongong and the Hume Motorway can detour via Memorial Drive, Bulli Pass, Appin Road, or the Illawarra Highway (Macquarie Pass). These detours are not suitable for any OSOM vehicle or any vehicle exceeding 19 metres and/or 50.5 tonnes. Operators of these vehicles are advised to delay their journey as no alternative detour is available. |
